Ray Everingham was gowned in
waltz -length royal purple velveteen
styled on princess limes with a
scooped out neckline and bouffan
skirt. She wore a matching ban
deau and a tiny veil. The brides-
maids, Miss Shirley McPhee, of
London, and Miss Marilyn McPhee
of Seaforth, wore identical gowns
of peacock green and French blue
respectively. All wore pink gloves
and small pink earrings and car-
ried pink rosettes and white pours.
Miss Carla Jean Everingham, the
breed's niece, was in pink nylon
trimmed with white lace on the
collar and cuffs, and a bouffant
skirt over crinolines. She wore a
wreath of pink rosettes and white
pours and carried a tiny nosegay
of matching blossom's.
Thomas Moore, of Toronto, was
groomsman, and ushers were Rob-
ert Durand and Ronald St. Pierre.

Lord's Prayer" and "Because" dura
ung the signing of the register,
At a reception at Sarnia, Riding
Club guests were received by the
bridal party at a fireplace decked
with chrysanthemums. The bride's
another wore dusty rose with black
accents and a corsage of pink ros-
es. The groom's mother was in pur-
le with touches of mauve and
gold accessories. Her corsage was
of yellow rases.
At the bride's table the all -white
hree-tiered wedding cake was top-
ped by a miniature bride and
groom and banked with pink tulle
aught by small white flowers. The
adding bouquets and white tapers
oropleted the decorations.

ride wearing a light beige three-
iece suit trimmed with brown fur,
beige hat, brown accessories and
corsage of red. roses.

Dublin CWL Hears of
Provincial Activities
Activities of the Catholic Wo-
men's League were described by
Mrs. Joseph McConnell, Seaforth,
provincial president, to a meeting
of the Dublin subdivision. The pro-
vincial bursary, immigration fund
and, missionaries were noted iby
the speaker, Mrs. Earl Healy,
president, opened the meeting with
prayer and notice was given of an
executive meeting in Stratford
early in December. Miss Phon-
sine Meagher' contributed a read-
ing. Plana were made to hold a
turkey bingo in mid-December.
EGMONDVILLE
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McLachlan
visited on Sunday with Mrs. Mc-
Lachlan's son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Don MclKenzie, of
near Brussels. Don has recently
returned home from. Wingham
hospital, where he has been con-
fined for some tient with a broken
leg and other injuries, the result
of an accident on the highway near
Walton. With his Leg now in "a
cast, he will be confined to his bed
for some time. -
Attending the Santa Claus par-
ade in Toronto last Saturday were:

HAROLD SELLER
WALTON.—Harold Seller, who
was stricken with a cerebral hem-
orrhage on Friday morning at his
home, died on Sunday morning at
seven o'clock in Clinton Public
Hospital, in his 52nd year.
Surviving are his wife, Hilda,
and one .daughter, Mrs.. Herbert
(Mildred) Travis. and two grand-
children; four brothers, Frank,
Ray and Ward, of Morris Town-
ship, and Charles, of Breslau.
Funeral services were held at
his late residence at 2 p.m, Tues-
day.

Lands in McKillop
While at their farm in McKil-
lop a few days ago, Wilfred and
Elmer Dennis found a large bal-
loon which had settled to earth.
Identification found suggested
the balloon to be a U.S. weather
balloon. Mr. Dennis contacted
U.S. Army officials to learn what
disposition of it was desired,

MRS. P. GARSIDE
.Mrs. Percy (Mary Ann) Qar-
side, formerly of Stratford, died.
Sunday night at Victoria -Hospi-
tal, London, in her 77th year, She
was born in Tuckersmith Town-
ship, and lived for many years
near Brussels before moving to
London 40 years ago. She was a
member of Chalmers Presbyterian
Church.
Services will be conducted by
Rev. D. ' J. Firth, of •Chalmers
Church, London, 'Thursday, at 2
p.m, in the Evans Funeral Home,
where the body rested, with burial
in Mount Pleasant cemetery. -
