Mr. and Mrs.. Bob Hedden and
Raye Hedden, of St. Catharines,
were recent visitors with Mrs.
Catherine Hedden and Herb.
Mrs. Norman Harvey, of Monk -
ton, Who was seriously injured in
a car -truck collision on the Kippen
Road, a mile and a quarter north
of the Red Tavern corner, Monday
evening, and who is in Scott Mem-
orial Hospital, Seaforth, is the
mother of Mrs. Alf. Scholl, Mr.
and Mrs. Harvey were on their
way to attend the Hensall bingo
when the accident happened.
Hensall Library will be closed
for two weeks commencing July
31, when all books are due.
Fifteen pupils of Miss Greta
Lammie motored to CKNX, Wing -
ham, on Tuesday of this week to
make a tape recording of the kid-
dies' studio party, the program to
be broadcast October 23. Miss Lam-
mie and the children were driven
by Mrs. Jack Tinney, Mrs. Harold
Elder, Mrs. John Anderson, Hen-
sall, and Mrs. Seldon Ross, Bruce -
field. On the way thome they en-
joyed a picnic lunch.
Bob Bell, son of Mr. and M'rs.
W. R. Bell, who is employed at the
General Coach' works, suffered an
accident on Tuesday afternoon,
when a finger became caught in a
bandsaw. The injured finger was
dressed at South Huron Hospital,
Exeter.
Orr Reunion
Poplar 1911 was the setting on
Sunday for the Orr reunion, with
'members attending from Detroit,
London, Langside, Wingham; Elm-
wood, Chesley, Pine River and
Hensall. A very enjoyable time
was spent in renewing acquaint-
ances. A picnic dinner and supper
were served. The committee for
1955 includes Mrs. Claude Dore,
Pine River, and Mrs. Elton Austin,
Kincardine. Hanover Park will be
the location for the 1955 reunion.
Hunter Reunion
On Sunday the Elimville Hall
provided the setting for the Hun-
ter reunion. Tihis gathering, the
first held in many years, was large-
ly attended by representatives
from Exeter, Hensall, Lucan, Cen-
tralia, London, Saskatoon and
other centres.
Following a delicious supper,
Mr. Roy Laramie, master of cere-
monies, presided for a period of
business. Plans were made to
make this reunion an annual ev-
ent. The following committees
were named: president, Ray Lam-
mie, Centralia; secretary, Miss

week with her brother-in-law and
