O 1 FUNERAL OF MISS CARNOCHAN Funeral services were held Fri- day, March 5, for Miss Agnes J. Caraoc•haa, who had passed away the previous Tuesday. March 2, Rev. J. W. Stinson, of Northside United _Church, officiated. James T. Scott sang "Beyond the Sunset.' The pallbearers were Alister Broad - foot, James Black, Kenneth Carno- chan, W. J. McDowell, Harold Agar and Francis Coleman. Interment was in. Maitlandbank cemetery. PETER -LINDSAY There passed away let Hullett on Sunday. March 7, a well-known resident of the district iu the per- son of Peter Lindsay, in his 76th year. Mi. Lindsay was born in Constance and was the last mem- ber of a family of six. In 1914 he was inart•ied to Charlotte Millson and farmed in Hullett ever since. He retired five years ago as he did not enjoy good health during the past few years. Surviving is his wife. The funeral took place front the G. A. Whitney Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. J. W. Stinson conducting the ser- vice. The pallbearers were Howard Armstrong, Verne Dale, ,. Stewart Dale, John Thompson, Walter Scott and \\'ilfred Scott. MRS. RICHMOND G. PARKE Following an illness of three and a half ye'nrs, Georgina Victoria Col- lins, beloted wife. of Richtnond G. Parke, .passed away at her home on Wednesday,' March 10, in her 7711t year. She had been 'seriously ill for two weeks. Born in Pitts- burg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Collins. She was married in 1902 in St. Mark's Church, Orangeville, to Mt•. Parke. who survives her, together with one son, George, of London, and one .,laughter. Miss Dorothy, at home. Mrs. Parke was a Life member of the Women's Aux- iliary of St. Thomas' Church and a Past Mistress and honorary mem- ber of -the L.o.B.A. Lodge, Seaforth. The funeral will take place from St. Thomas' Church on Saturday at 2 p.m., with Rev. J. H. James of- ficiating. Interment will be in Maitlandbank cemetery. The president, Mrs. Meag- her, opened the 'meeting with the League prayer in unison tby the members. The minutes of the'pre- vious meeting and correspondence were given by Miss Marie Nagle. Correspondence included thank - you notes from recipients of Christmas treats, and a letter from the Mitchell Fair ,Board, inviting the society to display an' exhibit at their fair in the fall. Mrs. Bernice Looby gave the fin- ancial report. A request from the Ursuline Sisters for a prize to be given to students taking part in the Musica Festival at Mitcheli in May was received, This Was ap- proved by the members.
