upon motion by Leonard (reb and
Delbert ,Geiger, the meeting was
adjourned until 1:30 p.m. •

At 1:30 the following motion

up confirming same: One man, 70c
per hour; one man -and team, $1
per hour; patrolmen, 75c per hour;
snow plow helper, 80c per hour;
team and mower, $1.60 per hour;
grader operator, to be set later;
selection of jurors, Reeve and As-
sessor, 46 each, -Clerk 910; fence -
Viewers, 93.50 per meeting plus
mileage; tractor on grader pulling
brush, $1.50 per hour; tractor oe
wagon or doing light work, 91 per
hour; school attendance officer,
$2.50 per trip, plus mileage; stock
valuator, $2.50 per trip, plus 'mile-
age; road superintendent, 91 per
hour and to provide own -transpor-
tation; deputy returning officers, $6
per day; poll clerk, 45 :per day;
reeve, $125, phis 43.50 per trip for
feigning cheques; deputy -reeve and
councillors; 9100; reeve, couneil and
clerk, for special meetings, 93.50;
mileage for township officials, 7%.c
per mile where allowed; caretaker,

The reeve and road superintendent
were authorized to apply for tate
subsidy on road expenditures:

Council agreed. The Council also
will ask the Department of Edu-
cation to give a gran of 75 per
cent of the total expenditure on
the alteratioun to the Seaforth
District High School.
The Huron County Son and Orli
Improvement Aesociation, was vot-
ed a grant of $25. Road accounts
as presented by the road sunerin-
tendent were ordered Paid.
Council adopted a resolution ask-
ing the County of ..Huron to retain
the 9th Concession of Morris as
part of the county road system ue-
til such time as the Hullett-Morris
boundary road is built to handle
heavy traffic.
