Hensall Artifical Ice to Be
Viewed at General Meeting
At the last regular meeting of
the 1953 Hensall Council, held last
week with all members present,
considerable discussion took place
regarding the issuing of debentures
for artificial ice. It was decided to
call a special meeting, asking the
artificial ice committee, .Park Board
and the Council, to discuss aspects
of the question.
E. R. Davis reported on the re-
cent snow storm, also the collection
of the poll tax. J. A. Paterson re-
ported tax arrears as being $1,-
123.42, or over 97 per eent collect-
ed. W. B. Cross, assessor, report-
ed
eported on the usual added assessments,
stating that only $1,125 was added
this year owing to the uncomplet-
ed buildings.
