nesday, 'October 7.

bearers were Lloyd Walden, Lloyd
McDowell, Gordon McDowell, Mur-
ray Kell'ough, Norman Keliough and
Harold Vincent. Interment was in
Dungannon cemetery.

The 'October meeting of the Ceti),
elle Women's League of St. Colum -
ban was field' in the perish (hall
recently, with 2$ members in at-
tendance. The president, Mrs. John
Moylan, opened the meeting with
the League Prayer.
Minutes of the previous meeting
were read by the recording secre-
tary, Mrs. William McMillan. The
correspondence was read by Mrs,
Mike Doyle. The first vice-presi-
dent reported 121 members.
Final pians were discussed' for
the bazaar, tea and bingo, to be
held in the Parish Hall, October
21. The meeting adjourned with
prayer and a dainty lunch 'served,

munity Hall Friday evening for Mr,
and Mrs. -John King with Siemon's
orchestra furnishing the music.

The meeting opened with a scrip-
ture reading Ib'y. Miss' Galbraith, fol-
lowed by prayers for the parish,
Following the minutes of the iaet
meeting and the treasurer's report,
further plans for the coming bazaar
were made. A shower for the 'eur-
prise stocking and the Christmas
tree le planned for the next meet-
ing, .
A rummage sale was planned for
October 31, with Mrs. Reid as
convener. Guild members decided
to ,have a new top put on the cup-
boards in the rectory. Lunch was
served by Mrs. Nott and Mrs.
James.

Mr. Henry Weiland quietly cele-
brated his 96th birthday on Thurs-
day, October 8. Mr. Weiland lives
quietly but keeps abreast of the
times at all times.
Miss Marilyn Black and Miss
Della Wallace were weekend guests
of Mr. and Mrs, Wm. Scotchmer.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Coombs, Ken-
neth and Fergus, were in Detroit
over the weekend visiting her
brother who figured recently in
an accident.

ronto, were holiday guests of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Weiland.

were in Detroit over the holiday.

visited his brother, Mr. Robert
