Name Postmaster
For Exeter
Milton W. Pfaff, Exeter's post-
master for the past 31 years, has
retired. His position was taken
over by Harvey Pfaff, who has been
postal clerk for, the past seven
years. Although they have the
same name, the two men are not
related,
Milton Pfaff, wo became post-
master in 1921, has also supervised
12 post offices and 23 rural routes
in South Huron.
Harvey Pfaff, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Pfaff, R.R. 1, Exeter,
is a veteran of the Second World
W1ar, having served overseas near-
ly five years with the Royal Cana-
dian Regiment. He is a past presi-
dent of the Exeter branch of the
Canadian Legion.
Inspector J. A. Flaherty, of Lon-
don, conducted the transfer.
