Damage to Three Gars
Damage was extensive-in'a three-
car crash Sunday on No. 21 High-
way, one mile north of Grand
Bend. Pollee said -cars were driv-
en by Raymond Enigh, 17, London,
Wilfred' 'Hornung, 20,: Kitchener,
and Phillip -Church, 20, Exeter. T'he
Enigh car was stalled on the high-
way and was struck 'in the rear by
the Hornung car, which bounced off
and collided with the Church car
travelling north, police said. D(tm-
age was estimated at $800 Provin-
cial Constable Elmer Zimmerman
investigated.

EXETER. --Baskets of white glad-

an attractive setting for the double
ring wedding in James Street Unit-
ed Church, Exeter, Saturday, July
15, of Orian Orpha Stephan, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hoop-
er, Exeter,' and Ronald Gladwin
Gunning, son of Emmerson Gun-
ning, Exeter, and the late Mrs. Gun-
ning. The Rev. Harold J. Snell of-
ficiated and the organist was Lawr-
ence Wein, who accompanied the
soloist, Grant McDonald.
Given in marriage by her father,
thebride wore a floor -length gown
of Chantilly lace over satin and
net. The bodice featured a yoke
of flesh nylon and lily point sleeves.
The peplum and sweeping skirt
were accentuated with bands of
nylon. Her fingertip veil of nylon
net fell from a crown of seed
pearls. She carried a white Bible
with mauve orchid streamers
caught u pwith lily -of -the valley.
Bridal attendants were Margaret
Stephan, sister of the bride, who
was maid of honor, and bridesmaids
were Mrs. Ronald Stephan, Mrs.
Mervyn Stephan, London, Miss
Shirley Flynn and Miss Lois Hen-
derson, Hensall. Diane Smale, Hen -
sail, was flower girl in a pale pink
gown;' and Master Jack Stephan,

For a reception at Club Monetta,
the bride's mother wore a French
blue faille crepe dress with pink
accessories and 'corsage of pink
carnations. \ For a wedding trip to
the United States and Northern
Ontario the bride chose a dove
grey linen suit with red accessor-
ies and corsage of red carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Gunning will live in

was held Monday • •for Mrs. S. A.
Miller, a resident of this village
since her marriage to the late S.
A. Miller, who .predeceased her in
1933. Mrs. Miller was a member
of Cromarty Presbyterian Church,
and also a mem'ter of 'the Women's
Missionary Society.
Rev. D. Glenn Campbell of Sea -
forth officiated, and burial followed
in the family plot in Staffa ceme-
tery. One son, Lloyd, of Stratford,
survives. Pallbearers were Harry
Kresh, J. Downs, H. Lindsay, Otto
Walker, R. McCullough, T. Storey.
