Glenn. Campbell unit- ed in marriage Thelma Dorothy, daughter' of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Dolmage, and John Burleigh, son of Mrs. Murray, London, and the late Mr. Burleigh. The bride chose a white nylon net gown...with embroidery on the blouse and wore a veil and head- dress. Her flowers were red ros es. • Mrs McNichol, sister of the bride, who attended her, wore green nylon net and carried yellow mums. Following the ceremony a recep- tion was held at the home of the ide's parents for the immediate f mily and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Burleigh left later on a motor trip to Winnipeg, and on their return will reside in Seaforth. Weber united in marriage Rose Anne Julene, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Jahn Aubin, Brucefield, and Clarence Andrew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Mc- Nichol, Seaforth. The bride was given in marriage by her father, and was pretty in a gown of white lace and 'satin, pet- als of lace forming the neckline, and tiers of lace cascading down the side of the skirt. Her head- dress was made on satin brocade. Her bouquet was red roses. She was attended by Dianne Hughebaret, Detroit, cousin of the bride, who wore an orchid ballerina strapless, gown with small head- dress with rhinestone clips, and carried yellow mums. The maid of honor was Ilene Masse, also of De- troit. The flower girl wore a yel- low ballerina dress with an orchid nosegay, The groomsmen were Victor Anh- ui, Kitchener, and Floyd Aubin, o Brucefield. The groom's gift to the bride was a beautiful three-piece rhinestone set. The organist of the church, Mrs Alice Stiles, played traditional wed- ding music, and Miss Julia Flanni- gan sang a solo. A reception was held at the home of the bride when gnests were present from Kitcnen- er, Clinton, Zurich, Cam :p Borden. and Walton. Later. the couple left on a wedding trip to points in Northern Ontaria, and on their re- turn will reside in Barrie. ROWE - MASON In a double -ring ceremony in First Presbyterian Church, _Port Huron, Mich., at. 2 p.m. on Satur- day, June 6, Marion France, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey M. Mason, Seaforth, was united in marriage to Mr. Harvey Richard Rowe, Silverwood, Mich., only son of Mr. and Mra, Arthur D. Rowe, also of Silverwood. Rev. Alton Cressman officiated. Traditional wedding music was played by the church organist, who also accompanied Mr. Russell Fer- rier, Detroit, who sang, "Through the Years" and "Because," The bride wore a dress ot nleat- ed nylon tulle and Chantilly flue over white satin, designed -and made by herself. A white satin head -band held her •illusion veil and she carried a cascade bouquet of lilies of the valley and stephan- otis. Pepber, uncle of the bridegroom, Detroit. For a honeymoon trip to North- ern Michigan, the bride wore tur- quoise linen with a white hat and accessories. On their return they will reside in Silverwood, Mich. LATE 6MRS. W. H. STEVENS Mrs, William H. Stevens, Sea - forth, passed away on Wednesday at her home, James St., following a week's serious illness. Mrs. 'Stev- ens was the former Catherine M. .IFarquhar, and was in her 82nd year. Married in 1922 at Blyth to Mr. Stevens, who passed away in 1939, Ishe is survived by two stepsons, William H. Stevens, Hamilton, and John C. Stevens, town; six grand- children; one sister, Mr. Matthew Grummett, -Saskatchewan, and a . brother, John Farquhar, Clinton. The deceased was educated in Hullett Townshipwand came to Sea - forth in 1923. She was a member of Northside United Church and Edelweiss Rebekah Lodge, The funeral will be held Satur- day from the G. Church Redecorated The McKillop Evangelical Church has been redecorated and a new roof put on.
