married to Kenneth Smith, son of

son.
The bride chose a navy blue taf-
feta gown yeah 'white taffeta jack-
et, navy accessories and wore a

es. She was attended by Margaret
Smith, sister of the groom, who al-

T. Gauthier, 'became the' bride of
Lavern Albert Diehl, youngest son
of Mr. and M'rs. Henry Diehl, Sr.,
R.R. 2, Milverton.
The ceremony was performed by
Rev. W. A. Jones, at 2:30 o'clock.

Darling, the bride wore a gown of
brocaded net over blue taffeta with
matching blue accessories and red
rose corsage.

maid wore pink net over matching
taffeta. She wore pink accessories

Plan Easter Meeting
The regular meeting of the WM'S
and WA of Duff's United Church,
McKillop, .was held at the home of
Mrs: R. 'M. Scott recently. iMrs.
Gordon Papple, president of the
WMS, opened the meeting with . a
hymn. Mrs. R. M. Scott read the
scripture lesson and Mrs. John
Gordon led in prayer. Membene de-
cided .to hold the Easter thankof-
fering in the church on April 8,
and have the Mission Band take
part in the program, Mrs. Ken
Stewart took the study book and
gave an inspiring talk on "Educa-
tion iv. Angola,"
Mrs. James Kerr took the chair
for the Ar,in the absence of the
president. Several items, of bus'i-
ness were discussed and the meet-
ing closed with the ,Mizpah benedic-
tion. A delicious lunch was served
by the hostess and helpers.
