On Saturday, February 21, at 3
p.m., Rev. Father Weber united in
marriage in the chapel of St.
James? Church, Seaforth, Shirley
Bennewies, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. EdwinBennewies, 'Seaforth,
and Eugene Dale, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Alynn Dale, also of Seaforth.
The bride chose embossed robin
egg blue nylon net over taffeta,
ballerina; length, with Peter Pan
collar of black velvet, winter white
hat and corsage of white carna-
tions,
arnestions, and carried a' prayer book.
The bride was attended by Miss
Donelda Dale, sister of the groom,
who wore an identical dress to that
of the bride in petunia t' ed with
winter white accessories, and car-
ried white carnations. Ralph Ben-
newiess, 'brother of the. bride, was
groomsman.
A reception was held at the home
of the bride following the cere-
mony. After a wedding trip to
Northern Ontario, the couple will
reside in 'Seaforth.
PATRICK - BLOOR
•A quiet wedding was solemnized
in St. Andrew's Church, London, on
Friday, February 13, when Patricia,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Bloor,
London, and Robert J. Patrick, son
of Mr. and Mrs, Montgomery Pat-
rick, Tuckersmith, were united in
marriage by Canon Abraham.
The bride was attractively attir-
ed in a cinnamon shade wool suit
with beige accessories and carried
Talisman roses. She was attended
by her sister, Miss Margaret Bloor,
London, who chose a Hunter green
dress with black accessories, and
also carried Talisman roses.
Following the ceremony a num-
ber of friends were entertained' at
the home of the bride's parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Patrick left on a m
tor trip to Detroit and Port H r -
on. On their return they will • e -
side in Tuckersmith.
Prior to the marriage, Drury
Lane Steak House was the scene
of a happy gathering when a com-
bination party and shower were
held in the bride's honor. She re-
ceived many lovely gifts. •
The only Mormon Temple in the
British Empire is at Cardston, Alta.

to Adeline Evelyn Shade, daughter
of the late Mr. and 'Mrs. Willia%n •R.
Shade, in, her 50th year., She was
taken ill and removed to Scott
Memorial Hospital, where she pri-
ed away Wednesday. ,
Miss Shade was born in Harlan. -
hey and later worked in the W. J.
'Duncan shoe factory for over 30
years.
Surviving are two 'brothers, El-
mer, Egmondville, and Allan, Cleve-
land, and one sister, Mts. Mae Vin-
cent, Egmondville,
The funeral will take place from
the Box Funeral Horne on Satur-
day, at 2 p.m., with Rev, A. W.
Gardiner, of Egmondville United
Church, officiating. Interment will
be in Egmondville cemetery.
LATE JOHN BOLDER
There passed away in Prince
Rupert, B,C., on Th'ursday,,.Feb. 5,
a former jeweller of town, John
Bolger, He was ill only a short
time.
,Berg. in McKillop 75 years ago,
2% miles from town, he began his
career in Dublin and later moved to
Seaforth. He went West over 40
years ago.
Surviving are his wife, the for-
mer Mary Galbraith, also of Mc-
Killop; three sons, Russel, Mont-
real; John, Prince Rupert, and Gor-
don, Ottawa; also a daughter, Kath-
leen, at home.
Mr. Bolger attended school in Mc-
Killop and the Seaforth 'Collegiate
Institute. He was a member of the
Anglican Church. Interment was
made in a Prince Rupert cemetery.

Mr. J. S. Watson, who has been
a patient in Scott Memorial Hos-
pital for the past four weeks, has
sufficiently improved to be able to
return to his home Tuesday,
Mrs. Albert Clark, Highgate,
spent the weekend with her moth-
er, Mrs. J. S. Watson. Mr, Clark,
accompanied by his mother, motor-
ed here Monday to attend the fun-
eral of the late Mrs. Fotheringham,
Brucefield, He returned to High-
gate Monday..evening.
.Mrs. James Finlayson has return-
ed to her home here after spending
three weeks with her daughter,
Mrs. Wes, Hayter, and Mr. Hayter,
Webberville, Michigan,
Miss Jessie Finlayson and Mr.
William Finlayson, Lorne Park,
visited with their mother, Mrs. Jas.
Finlayson, over the weekend,
Mr. Lorne Pepper, Niagara Falls,
visited with Mr. and Mrs, James
Hay 'Saturday. Mrs, Pepper, who
has spent the past week with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hay, return-
ed with him Sunday.

is improving in health,
