GARVEY GODERICH-Attended by a large number of citizens from the sur- rounding district and from more distant pointa,.the funeral service for John Vincent Garvey, Ashfield township, was held in St. Joseph's Church, Kinghridge, Friday morn- ing. Solemn High Mass of "-Requiem was selebrated by deceased's bro- ther, Rev. Edwin C. Garvey, Toron- to, assisted by Rev. Wheel Dalton, Rev, Father Le Bel, Rev Father Van Wymecitt, parish piest, and others. The pallbearers were Matthew Foley, John S. Dalton, John O'Con nor, Frank Dalton, L. Salewsti and James Doherty. With this goes a wish for a Happy Holiday from Eric and Barbara Milner BRODHAGEN-Mrs. William El- ligson, a life-long resident of Log- an township, died at the Stratford General Hospital Sunday afternoon, aged 73 years. She had been in failing health for a few months 'and seriously ill for two weeks, during which time she had been a patient in the hos- pital. The former Elizabeth Puschel- berg, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Puschelberg, she wa6 born in Logan township on June 17, 1879. On January 23,- 1901, she was married to William Elligson and they farmed in. Logan township, at lot 7, concession 6. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Legn. The deceased' is survived by her husband; two sons, William and George, both at home; two daugh- ters, Carolyn, Hamilton, and Edtia, Stratford; one sister, Miss Carolyn Puschelberg, Monkton. The body is resting at the Lock- hart Funeral Home, Mitchell, where funeral service will be held Wed- nesday afternoon, Dec. 24, at 200 o'clock, followed by a memorial service in First Lutheran Church, Logan T.OSIvIlhin. at 2:30 pm.
