wedding music and accompanied

The bride, who was giden in
marriage by her father, wore a tra-
ditional full-length gown of nylon
net and lace over „satin. Over a
strapless lace bodice was worn a
chantilly lace ja6•ket with small
collar, studded with seed pearls,
and long tapering sleeves The
bouffant net skirt held a deep pan-
el of chantilly lace. Her finger-tip
veil, embroidered in white silk wed-
ding bells, was held in place by a
cloche cap of white satin flowers.
She carried a cascade of red roses.
The matron of honor, Mrs. James
Sutherland, wore mauve net over
taffeta, matching headdress and a
bouquet of yellow and pink mums.
The bridesmaid's were Mrs, R.
Boussey and Miss Eleanor Shan-
non, the former choosing,,green net
over taffeta, with matching, need -
dress and a bouquet of pink mums,
while the latter wore pink net over
taffeta, with matching headdress of
yellow and pink mums and match-
ing bouquet. Sue Carter, niece of
the bride, as flower girl, was gown-
ed in yellow taffeta, matching Jul-
iet cap trimmed with mums.
The groomsman was James Suth-
erland, Mount Forest. Ushers Were
Ray Boussey and Kenneth Carter,
Seaforth.
• A reception was held at the home
Of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Flynn,
wjien the bride's mother received
the guests in navy mesh and lace
dress with navy accessories and„a
corsage of red roses. 'Repr'esenting
the groom's mother was Mrs. N.
Knight, Seaforth, Who wore Royal
blue crepe dress acid hat to match.
Her• costume was completed with
a blue and yellow mum corsage.

troit, Toronto, London, Hensall and ant.

Miss Mary E. Andrew, 49, who
died Wednesday, November 12, in
Clinton Hospital, was born at Ham-
iota, Man., but had resided in Exe-
ter since 1916. She was a member
0f Tames Street United fChnrch.

Surviving are one brother,
George, Melbourne, and two sis-
ters, Mr's. E. J. Pym, Usborne town-
ship, and Mrs. Norman Knight, Sea -
forth. Remains rested at the Hop-
per -Hockey Funeral Home, Exeter,
where a service was conducted Fri-
day at 2 p.m. by the Rev. H. J.
Snell, and interment made in Exe-
ter cemetery.

Funeral services for Ernest Al-
bert McIntosh, 74, who died Thurs-
day, November 13; at his residence
at 708 and Ave. N.S., Calgary, were
held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Jac-
ques Funeral 'Home, with Rev,, B.
L. Hodder officiating. `Burial was
in Queen's Park cemetery, 'Calgary.
Born in Seaforth, Mr. McIntosh
worked as a con acting carpenter
in London befor retiring to Cal-
gary in 1948. He was predeceased
by his wife, Gertrude, 'at London
in 1934.
He is survived by a son, Robert
S., of Calgary; two grand -daugh-
ters; a sister, IVIrs. A. R. Oliver, of
Encino, Calif.; and three brothers,
W.G., of Toronto, Stewart of De-
troit, and 'Robert of Ingersoll,

LATE GEORGE' H. STEWART
A former resident of Seaforth,
and one who was well known in
town and district, George H. Stew-
art, passed away at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. Niles, 89 Super-
ior Ave., ,Mimico, November 9,
Mr. Stewart was born in 1872 on
the boundary between Hibbert and
Usborne, near Kirkton. He termed
there until 1900, when in company
with his brother, Andrew E. Stew-
art, he purchased the .flour mill in
Exeter. 'This ,business was sold the
next year and they later purchased
the mill in Seaforth, taking into
partnership Duncan -McCallum and
employing L. T. 1DeLacey, They op-
erated this mill until 1912 when it
was sold. to Ogilvie, Montreal. In
1913 Mr. Stewart enteredtheem-
ploy of Massey -Harris, and in 1914
moved from Seaforth to Orange-
ville. After 1920 he lived in Belle-
ville until his retirement from. fhe
MasseyHarris Co.

McLaren, Usborne; passed away in
April, 1948. Surviving are one son,
Dr. Gordon Stewart, Belleville, and
two daughters, Mss. Niles, Mimico,
and Mrs. J. K. Robertson, Winni-
peg. The funeral was held•in IB•el1e-
ville Wednesday, Noveanber, 12;
with interment -in Belleville 'ceme-
tery..
