Tuckersmith Church Has 90th Anniversary Many friends and former mem- bers of Turner's United' Church, Tuckersmith, gathered at the old church Sunday to celebrate, with the present congregation, the church's 90th anniversary. .Decora- tions of autumn fruit and vege- tables and a large basket of mums made a pleasant setting for the services. Rev, M. G. Newton, Holmesville, was guest speaker for both ser- vices. Rev. Glen A. Eagle, Clin- ton, assistedat the evening .ser- vice. District Weddings • McKAY - LOVE ' •KIPPEN. --- Tall standards of chrysanthemums in white and aut- umn shades, interspersed with fern and candleabra, formed the setting for a lovely autumn wedding in St. Andrew's United Church, .Kippen, Saturday, October 25, at 3 p.m., when Helen 'Marion, only daughter of Mr. and :Firs. Ross Love, Hen- sall, was united in marriage to Kenneth Rosswel McKay, son of Mr. and Ofrs. Edward McKay, Kip - pen. The Rev, Norman McLeod performed the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a floor -length gown, Elizabeth Ann style, with skirt in layers of French tulle over candle- light satin and crinoline and sash of white velvet. A jacket of Chan- tilly lace covered the, strapless bodice. featuring a stand-up collar and calla lily sleeves. A lace tiara trimmed with orange blossoms held the floor -length veil of 'French illu- sion edged ed ft h Chantil y lace. She carried a white prayer book tied with white streamers, white baby mums and red rosebuds. Her attendants were Miss Ellen Love, maid of honor, gowned in bronze gold net over taffeta with velvet jacket, Miss Margaret Por- ter and 'Miss Dorothy ,.Turner, bridesmaids, wore similarly styled gowns of shrimp and sea green ny- lon net over taffeta, ballerina length, All carried muffs and wore headdresses of baby mums in matching tones.
