The Rev. Norman Rawson con-
ducted the ceremony in the Mem-
orial Chapel of Centennary United
Church, Hamilton, 'Saturday after-
noon, October 4, at five o'clock,
when Audrey Marie, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Dennis, Hamil-
ton, became the bride of ;Worley
B. Wright, son of Mrs. Alex Wright
and the late Mr, Wright, Seaforth.
Decorations in the chapel• were
yellow chrysanthemums and white
gladioli. Wedding music was pro-
vided by Mrs. Irene Pearce.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride's gown of white French,
lace was ankle length and topped
by a long-sleeved lace jacket. Her
chapel veil was held by a band of
orange blossoms, and she carried
an old-fashioned 'bouquet of Sweet-
heart roses, white baby chrysan-
themums and stephanotis. She was
attended by her sister, Mrs. Robert
Richardson, who wore an orchid
shade gown of French lace and
nylon net, topped by a lace jacket,
also ankle length. Her headdress
was of same shade feathers, and
she carried yellow roses and steph-
anotis.
Arthur Wright, brother of the
groom. was best man. Ushers were
Robert Richardson and Mark Hum-
by, Hamilton.
The reception for 75 guests was
held at Club 222, where the bride's
mother received in a navy dress
with touches of white and acces-
sories of navy velvet. Her corsage
was pink carnations. The mother
of the .groom was in a black dress
with ,lace and black accessories.
Her 'corsage was of red roses.
After a motor trip to Detroit and
the Western States, returning_ by
Winnipeg, the bride and groom 'will
reside at 16 Lorne Ave., Hamilton.
For going away the bride chose an
orchid shade suit with black vel-
vet accessories and topped by a
grey kid jacket. Her corsage was
yellow' chrysanthemums.

The death took place in Detroit
on Thursday, October 9, of Evelyn
,Maude Brawn, widow of the late
Zoel Dennis, in her 51st year. Prior
to going to Detroit to live, Mrs.
Dennis made her home with the
late Mr. and Mrs.- James Brown,
of town.. Deceased is survived by
two daughters, Mrs. Larry Brown,
Owen Sound. and Mrs. J. Fraiser,
Seaforth, and one son, Clayton
Dennis, ,Seaforth.
The funeral took place Saturday
at the Box Funeral Chapel, Sea -
forth, at 2 p.m., with Rev. A. W.
Gardiner, of ,Egmondville United
Church, officiating. Mr. James T.
Scott sang "No Night There," ac-
companied by Mrs. M. R. Rennie.
Interment was in Maitlandbank
cemetery. The pallbearers were
Leonard Le Souder, Ross Magee,
Robert Brown, Robert iSimpson, F.
Brandt, Stratford, and F. Holroyd,
