OWING TO THE FACT THAT THE
Municipal Council of the Village of
Hensall has given the Municipal Councils
of Hay and Stanley Townships ample time
to come to an agreement over the matter
of FIRE PROTECTION and have been
unable to get any satisfaction as regards
the same from either of the Municipal
Councils: therefore. after October 1, 1952,
no FIRE calls will be answered from either
Township by the Hensall Fire Brieade,
and take notice that both Councils have
been advised of this.

their daughter, Bece, have re-
turned home after delightful five
weeks' tour of the West, visiting
cousins of Mr. Dilling, whom • he
had never. seen, at Winnipeg, Re-
gina, Melbourne, Man., and Van-
couver, B.C. The trip was through
Michigan, Wisconsin and Dakota.
During their 7,000 -mile tour they
saw the penguins at Vancouver,
flowers at Banff, the hot sulphur
springs and bears.

Wilson entertained at a trousseau

John Bain and the bride -elect.
The dining -room was decorated
in pink and white. During the af-
ternoon Mrs. A. C. Routledge, Eg-
mondviile, and Mrs. Bert McKay,
'poured tea and Mrs. Ruby Bain as-
sisted Mrs. McKay in the evening.
