The treasurer's report showed a gab- stantial balance on hand. There were no birthdays noted for the month. Items of business were dis- cussed, including the members de- cision to install two stained glass windows in the church on either side of the front door. After the collection was received and dedi- cated, the president .adjourned the meeting with the benediction. Northside Group Meets, --Group 2 of Northside W.A. held ;their Jane meeting at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Sam Scott, with Mrs. W. Dun- das presiding. .A money -raising project for the remainder of the year will be "mystery teas or din- ners." A would-be hostess may con- tact Mrs. Dundas or Mrs. Porteous and state the number of people whom she wishes to entertain on a certain date, Her guests will be chosen by these two ladies and the hostess will not be known un- til their arrival. After the devotional and business part of the meeting, Mrs. Jack Kel- lar gave an interesting account of a trip to Tennessee, describing many points of interest along the way. Mr. Eric Milner, of Eric Milner Florists, demens,trated flor- al arrangement* and gave some excellent tips on the care of cut flowers and house plants. Miss A. Lawrence closed the meeting with prayer. Legion Auxiliary Meets. — The regular meeting of the Seaforth. branch of the Legion Ladies' Aux iliary was held on Wednesday, June 4. The meeting was opened by Preaident Col:tirade Cameron, "0 franada" was sung and the flag was brought on by Standandhearer Cone rade McClinchey. In the absence of the recording secretary, the roll call was read by Comrade Hotham and was answered by .22 members, The minutes, read by Comrade Ad- ams, were adopted as read. The treasurer gave her report and there was a recess for payment of dues, The mystery box raffle netted $2.45 and was won by Com, Little, Com- rade Dunlop, of the sick committee, reported one box of fruit sent and one sick call made. A reporrfrom the social committee showed that the home baking sale held in May realized $41.15. Business letters in- cluded congratulations from the Listowel Branch and an invitation to attend thej birthday party of the Goderich Branch, and it was decid- ed to hire a bus and attend. The corresponding secretary was asked to write to the Provincial Command for permission, to hold draws. R was decided to buy a wreath to be placed on the cenotaph on decora, tion day. The meetings will con- tinue through the summer months, the next meeting being the first Wednesday in July. This meeting will be in the form of a cup and saucer shower for the auxiliary.
