"WITH A SONG IN MY HEART"
TO PLAY AT REGENT THEATRE
JUNE 19-20-21
This Academy Award winner is a
story of courage, (heroism. faith and
music. It's one of the greatest musi-
cals ever produced. It is unsurpass-
ed even in a elates with 'Alexander's
Ragtime Band', 'State Fair' and
THE VOICE OF
TEMPERANCE
Much is being made today of the
importance of education in the tem-
perance campaign. Let the people
be informed about alcohol. Is it a
food or is it a poison? Is it a nar-
cotic or is it a stimulant? Surely
no one is so simple as to suppose
that if the public knew all that is
to be known about alcohol, the
problem that alcohol has created
would be solved. Alcoholics know
that alcohol is (tilling them, but
they keep on drinking. Moderate
drinkers know that alcohol is a hab-
it-forming beverage but they keep
on drinking. Car driyers know that
alcohol lessens their efficiency as
car drivers, but t.hey keep on drink-
ing. The Government knows that
alcohol is public nuisance number
one, but it keeps on tolerating it.
Education is not enough. Knowl-
edge is not enough. How to get
people to do as they know---that'i'
the sixty-four dollar question. The
only' 'sante conclusion to the matter•
is that wisdom Is in abstlfienee.--•
(Advt.).
Tbe Razor's Edge.' It is one of
the greatest pictures of all time.
Jane Froman's glorious singing
voice, with the inspired acting of
Susan Hayward, are blended into a
rare composition. The courageous
battle against the threat that she
will be crippled touches everyone.
David Wayne and Rory Calhoun,
two of Hollywood's fastest soaring
stars, display equally brilliant roles:.
This picture is being brought to
Seaforth as soon as possible upon
its release.
