Salvation Army Holds Vacation
School.—iAt the Salvation Army
each morning of the Easter ,Taca-
tion can be seen a fine wholesome
group of boys and girls, who gather
for the Easter Vacation Bible
School. This venture -being con-
ducted by four Cadets of the Sal-
vation Army College, Toronto, is
proving to be of great interest and
very beneficial to the young people
,of Seaforth- and district. The pro-
gram each day is varied, The hear-
ty chorus singing of the children
and youth is inspiring, as are the
lessons which are taught them by
means of objects and flannelgraph.
Scripture texts are also memorized
each day. Bible quizzes and oppor-
tunities of leading the band invoke
an enthusiastic response. The hand-
icraft -angle of the school has ibee)i,
hampered slightly due to lack of
space, but the making of paper
carnations and roses has filled the
bill nicely. The youngsters seem de-
lighted in doing the work and the
success of the Bible School is prov-
ed by the daily increase in attend-
ance. Another phase of the 9 -day
Evangelistic Crusade is the eight
&clock Salvation Meeting. Interest
in these is increasing and much
blessing has been derived by those
in attendance. Shut-ins and hospital
patients have expressed their ap-
preciation of the added efforts of
the Corps Officers and visiting Cad-
ets. The final services of the Crus-
ade on Saturday and Sunday will
be under the leadership of Sr. -Maj.
L. Collins of Toronto. --(Contribut-
ed).
