What has happened to the big
membership drive that the Seaforth
'Amateur Athletic Association 'was
supposed to be holding? Bow many
members are there now,?
These questions have, been on
this scripe's mind for\ several
weeks. But we can't furnish an
answer to them.
When the Association first re-
organized, there was great talk
about getting members in different
manners. As y'ei none of these
ways have been used. They were
to hold a banquet 'with well-known
celebrities to supply the speeches,
but since the meeting this idea
town. Surviving are her husband,
a former well-known, Dashwood
resident, two sons, James and Reg;
one daughter, Mrs. George Kenne-
dy. Mrs. Mamie 'Peddler, Alias.
Craig, is a sister.• Funeral services
were held from Port Huron Sun-
day, J, n, 6.

Several people have (vo1untee1'04
to go out and sen the members($
tickets around. the town, -and taa?'v
ticularly the business district, but
at 1aa.t word they hadn't been given
any cards to distribute.
Come on,. don't let this associa-
tion
ssocfa-tion dive- out before It has gotten
back on its feet, after having been
drawn out of the grave once!
Let's see some of those member-
ship cards floating around town
during the next few weeks and get
an all-oilt drive underway to in-
crease the membership\of the S.A.
A.A., and thus get some funds\to
work with.
Has the Seaforth Junior Hockey
squad 'another name? With the
new Junior squad operating, we
think it should have a name instead
of just the Seaforth Juniors. Have
the management, the players, or
the S,A.A.A., who back the team,
not thought about dubbing this
team with some name?
Following is the balance of Group
