Dies in Michigan. — Joseph
Grieve, a former resident of Sea -
forth, passed away in the Wyan-
dotte, Michigan, Hospital on Wed-
nesday, July 12, after a brief ill-
ness of three weeks. The late Mr.
Grieve was born in the Seaforth
district seventy-two years ago and
moved to Grosse Ille, Michigan, in
1912, where he has since resided.
He was the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Hugh Grieve. The funeral
service was conducted in Trenton,
Michigan, on July 14. Interment
was in the Michigan Memorial
Cemetery. He is survived by his
wife, the former Janet Cummings,
their daughter, Mrs. John Pasek,
and two grandchildren. A brother,
James Grieve, of Hannah, North
Dakota, also survives.
