It seems unfair that the Huron
County Council should have assum-
ed the right to precipitate the mat-
ter
atter of the Canada Temperance Act
repeal. This is an issue to be initi-
ated by the people themselves and
to be decided by the people's vote.
The County Council has no right
to interfere. By anticipating any
move by the people and by throw-
ing its weight against the Canada
Temperance Act, it has betrayed a
partiality and; a haste that has no
justification. If the people Of Huron
want the Canada Temperance Act
repealed they will say so them-
selves. They have not asked the
County Council to horn in.—(Advt.)
