The stricter law enforcement and the heavier penalties failed -to match the menace of drunk driv- ing. It should be obvious that the policy of more and more outlets, with more and more liquor consum- ed is contributing to the drunk driv- ing menace. As the Toronto Star puts it: "The Ontario Govern- ment's free and easy attitude on liquor sales has been contributing to the accident toll due'to alcohol." Surely no Huron County citizen, in his right senses, would propose to exchange the restrictive measures of the -Canada Temperance Act for the free and easy sales policy of the Ontario Liquor Control Act, with its increasing drunk driving hazards.—(Adv.). • ee SM1day 4113121109.S• 121•1149.01t,,, .- - Fwiin4t.„.0' 11:1041b.lirta61.• eu,1:msndslrNu::darpin::::.:.'s.:;thtDio crui.:eathe vita: Mr, 8441 Igt!ff, 4** "ti:Alreo,, llit Mu.
