S. and W.A. of Constance Church was held in the church on Wednes- day, Dec. 6. Mrs. Lorne Lawson opened the meeting with the sing- ing of the hymn, "Silent Night," followed by the Lord's Prayer in unison. Minutes were read and adopter, followed by prayer by Mrs. D. Millson. Mr. and Mrs. Colin Gilfillan re- ceived word that Mr. Roy (Manny) McKellar, of Staffs, met with a fatal accident in a gold mine in Nova Scotia. The community wish- es to express its deepest sympathy. STAFFA, CROMARTY DISTRICT FARM FORUMS MEET Big Four Farm Forum met in the school house, and the discus- sion resulted• in the general feel- ing that pensions should be financ- ed through taxation, not participa- tion.
