was held in First Church Tuesday,

meeting was in charge of Mrs.

of the study book on that interest--

interesting. In her closing remarks

da), Mrs. Harvey Huntley, of Mon-
crieff. The funeral, though private,
was largely attended by friends
from Listowel, Ethel, Bluevale,
Kirkton, Seaforth, Kippen and Ex-
eter. Interment was in Hillcrest
Cemetery, Blyth.

The death occurred at' 'her late
residence, Bayfield, on Monday ev-
ening of Maud Catherine Howard,
wife of Charles Berry, after a long.
Illness. Mrs. Berry was, born in
Bayfield 72 years ago, the daugh-
ter of the' late Henry and Mar -
garet Howard, pioneer settlers in
this district. She was married 38
Years ago to 'Charles Berry and re-
sided in London until 1933, when
they moved to Bayfield. Besides
her husband she is survived by one.
