Modern Business Block on
Hensall's Main Street
Designed For Conveni-
ence of Buying Public.
The completion this month of a
modernization program, including
the installation of complete new
fronts to the stores owned by Ed.
Fink, Hensall, and occupiedby
himself and John !Tudor's ladies'
ready-to-wear, marks another' mile-
stone in the fast growing business
of one of Hensall's, younger busi-
ry
nessmen.
When Mr. Fink began to see
the people of Hensall and district,
he resolved that the most modern
facilities would be provided for the
convenience of his buying public.
Through the years since first learn-'
ing his trade as an apprentice, and,
particularly since he opened his
own place of 'btisiness, he bas al-
ways kept his • customers' satisfac-
tion foremost in his mind. As
labor 'and materials have slowly
become more readily available
since the war, he has incorporat-
ed them in his business and .the
experience he has gained through
the use of these modern appliances
he has passed on to his buying
public for its personal advantage.
As presently designed, the two
stores owned by Mr. Fink have
been divided so that he occupies
one and John Tudor the other, with
a complete stock of ladies' ready-
to-wear apparel. The frohts have
been combined to present a single
effect throughout their entirety.
The finish is of Perma-Stone, a

building material which is compar-
ativelya new in this district. It
presents an appearance of 'cut
stone, and at the same time pro-
vides a covering which insulates,
weatherproofs and fireproofs. Per -
ma -Stone is a scientific combina-
tion of crushed quartz, pure miner-
al colors, cement, waterproofers
and hardeners, cast directly to
walls and patented moulds. The
large display windows, with their
great expanse of glass, lend them-
selves to the proper display of
merchandise.
The interiors have been finish-
ed to provide the most up-to-date
designs in store interiors. Above•
the stores are completely modern-
ized apartments, thus making the
building a self-contained and effici-
ent operating business block.
Mr. Fink's business has been the
outgrowth of ay.policy which stress-

selling of only superior quality
