home of Mrs. Traviss with the
President, Miss' Edythe Hoag, in
the chair. The meeting was open-

dent. Hymn; 485 was sung, atter
which Mrs. Knight led. in prayer,
followed. by the Lord's Prayer in
unison: Mra. Schneider read the
last chapter'of Mark for the scrip-

Dies in Stratford.—A well known
resident of Stratford and of this
• district, Arthur Thomas Reeves,
• 296 Albert St., died in the Strat-
ford General Hospital Monday
anoming. He had been in failing
health for the past six months and
- had been a patient at the hospital
for about a week. Mr. Reeves was
well known to dancing enthusiasts
in the county for the past many
years. He had his own orchestra
and organized one of the first mod-
, .ern orchestras in this district. Mr.
Waves played the violin and until
recent months had continued to
conduct the band. Born near Se -a -
forth '14 years ago, he had resided
- Stratford for more than fifty
years. He was a sou of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Gabriel Reeves. Twice
•3narried, his first wife, the former
-Mos' Dorothy Irwin, died in 1922.

The infant son of Mr. and Mra.
George Ducharrne, Hibbert Twp.,
died in London Hospital on Sat-
urday. He was three months old.
The funeral took place Sunday af-
ternoon from the home of his par-
ents, with: interment in St. Pat-
rick's cemetery.

with a very good attendance. Pro-
gressive euchre was played, hon-

ous lunch a few hours were spent
