In Memoriam
IN LOVING MEMORY OF WILLIAM
Hill, who passed away one year ergo,
December 4th.
rims moves on, ono year has Passed.
Since death its gloom, its shadows cast,
Within our home where all seemed bright
And took from us a shining light,
A wonderful husband, companion and aid.
One who was better, God never made:
Always so good, unselfish and kind,
Few on this earth his equal we find.
Ile had a nature you couldn't help loving.
A heart that was purer than gold,
And to those who knew him and loved him
His memory will never grow old.
—Ever remembered by his loving Wide.

as well face up to it. You are in.
for an unpleasant few days. But
you can help yourself a lot by tak-
ing it easy—go to -bed for a day
or two if possible. Eat lightly of
nourishing foods and stay away
from other people as muoh as you
can. Remember, coldscan be dan-
gerous.
Accidents To the Eyes '
Industrial health expertsagree
that a high percentage of accidents
involving damage to the eyes of
workers could be prevented by the
wearing of safety goggles and by
taking other routine precautions.
Accidents do happen and a worker
is well advised to be on his guard
at all times. There is no substi,
tute for sight.

and maintenance of modern Automobiles, by Fred
Dinwoodie, Sertlice Manager of Seaforth Motors.
The importance of Wheel Balance is gradually beconling
recognized; however, there are still many motorists who` learn
the hard wayafter ruining_ a perfectly good tire through not
realizing that out -of -balance Conditions 'were taking their toll of
rubber. If a disturbance is felt in the steering wheel, due td
action of the front wheels, the first items. to check are pressures'
and balance.of the tire and wheel assembly.
Wheel balance is the equal distribution of the weight of the
wheel and tire assembly around the axis of rotation. There are
two ways in which every wheel must be balanced statically and
dynamically.

unbalance leads to wheel "flutter" and '`tramp."
Dynamic or Running Balance, mus't be attained to eliminate
wobble or shimmy-, which 'becomes more violent- at increased
speeds.
Due to irregularities in tread wear, caused by sudden brake
applications, misalignment, low inflation pressure, or tube and
casing repairs. a tire and wheel may lose its original balance.
An occasional check on our modern equipment will tell the
tale. ASK FOR A FREE BALANCE CHECK.
