having collected 96 per cent on

Council agreed to order 200 feet
of 11/2 -inch fire hose, four hydrant
wrenches' and the property com-
mittee is to interview Zurich Fire
Brigade, re adapters to fit both out-
fits.
Considerable discussion took
place as regards supplies for the
maintenance of the waterworks and
it was decided to procure a few
lengths of 4 and 6 -inch cast iron
pipe, also one hydrant, and to in-
struct the contractor to install a
drain on Albert St., which was de-
stroyed by installing 6 -inch tile in-
stead of the previous 4 -inch tile,
also to have the road graded up to
the pump house and gravelled and
install a good fence around the
pump house.

Remembrance Day services were
observed in the United Church on
Sunday morning under the auspic-
' ea' oP``Hens'all branch 468 of the
Canadian Legion. The members
marched in a body) to the church,
which was filled for the occasion,
and wereaddressed by Rev. R. A.
Brook, ,who spoke on the theme,
"An Unfulfilled Prediction." The
choir, under the direction of Mr.
S. Rannie, with Miss Greta Lam-
mie at the organ, sang for their
anthem, "Great Peace Have They."

Legions." A minute of silence was
observed in 'honor and thankful re=
membrance. A basket of beautiful
mums was placed in front of the
