dues are due and may he paid to
Mrs. W. E. Butt any afternoon next
week. Final arrangements were
made for the big bazaar which is
to be held on Saturday,. Nov. 6.

entitled, "Prayer Perfect," accom-
panied by Mrs. M. R. Rennie. Rev.

speaker and gave a helpful and
interesting message on "We Want
Ourselves." Mrs. Jas, L. Grieve's
group was in charge of the meet-
ing and a delicious lunch was :.PI''v-

Fireside Fellowship of First
Church Meets. -On Tuesday even-
ing the Tuesday Night Club of
First Presbyterian Church met at
the home of Mr. M. A. .Reid and
changed the name of the society
to the Fireside Fellowship Group.
Plans were discussed concerning a
pray, which is to be presented
early in the new year. Rev. R. G. -
McMillan, of Goderich, was • the
guest speaker and told an inter-
esting story on his experiences.

ious lunch was served at the close
of the meeting.
Northside Group Holds Meeting.
-On Monday evening Mrs. P. B.
Moffat was hostess to Group 2 of
the W.A. of Northside United
Church, Mrs. R. Savauge was in
charge of the meeting. "Take Time
To Be Holy" was sung, followed
by the Lord's Prayer in unison.
:Psalm 723 was read responsively,
after which "I Need Thee Every
Hour" was sung. Miss Susie Gov-
enlock favored, with a reading.
"Patiently I Bear My Cross." Mrs.
Lloyd Morrison, .President of Gen-
eral W.A.,•assisted in the business
discussion. .Mrs. R. Lawson and
Miss McLean were appointed as
the nominating committee for 1949,
A humorous reading, . "Urgent
Phone Call," was given by Mrs.
Laine and was mucic enjoyed.
Mrs. R. Savauge conducted several
contests, Mrs. Hunt being winner
of the art contest; Mrs. Comae,
apple -eating contest, and Mrs.
Kahle, parcel opening contest. A
delicious lunch was served..by the
lunch committee and a social hdur.
