Miss. Casey had been in fail- ing health for the past eight ,years but had only been confined to the hgspital for the past two weeks. She was bora in Hibbert, third daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs, Thomas Casey, and with her parents moved to Seaforth thirty-six years ago. She is survived by one .sister, Miss Mary Cabey, with whom she resided. In her early jife she was a seamstress min housekeeper. Deceased was a d.Nvoted member of St. James' Cath- olic Church and also a member of the C.W.L. and the League of the Sacrei Heart. The funeral will take place from the W. J. Cleary undertaking parlours on Friday morning at 9.30, with Rev. T. P. Hussey officiating. Interment will be in St. James' ceme- tery. The pallbearers will be John Walsh, Dominic Reynolds, Patrick Kelley, Frank Maloney, James Hagan and J. J. Cleary. Northside United Church,—Rev, H. V. Workman. F. L. Gilbert B.A. at both services Death of Mrs. J. R. Wright.—Many friends will hear with regret of the death of Elizabeth Anne Payne, be- loved wife of James R. Wright, 17 Myrtle Avenue, Galt, in her 77th year. The late Mrs. Wright passed away on Sunday, August 1, following an illness of one week. Prior to go- ing to Galt in 1901, Mrs. Wright had resided in Seaforth. She was a mem- ber of Knox Presbyterian Church, Galt. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Jean Wright, at home, and Mrs. W. 0, Gooding (Elizabeth), of Galt"; three grandchildren, Marilyn, Gail and Joy Gooding, all of Galt; two sisters. Mrs. Janet Fysh and Mrs. W. McGar, both of Galt, and one brother, F. W. Payne, of Galt. Funeral ser- vices were held Wednesday. Aug. 4. at 2.30 p.m., with intermefit in Mount View cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. Bell and Hatcher, of Galt: Walter and Wm. Fysh, Detroit; Wal- ter Bennett, Mitchell, and J. Scott Cluff, Seaforth. Among those who at- tended the funeral were Mrs. J. J.
