Death of Edward Mole—The death

Edward Mole, in his 74th year. Mr.
Mole was closely identified with the
town during his nearly fifty years'
residence here, and until failing
health necessitated his remaining at
home was a familiar and popular fig-
ure throughout the town. While he
had not enjoyed his usual good health
for nearly four years, it was not un-
til a month ago that his condition be-
came serious. Born in Auburn, Mr.
Mole in 1906 was united in marriage
to Edith Mae Snowdon. who prede-
ceased him in October, 1941. He is
survived by two daughters at home

was employed as engineer by Scott
Bros., who operated the electric light
plant. In 1911 when the Public Utility
Commission was formed, be became
superintendent, continuing to ' ccupy
that position until his retirement in
1944. Always of a friendly and help-
