The church was beautifully decorated for the occasion with Easter lilies, The flowers on the altar were in loving memory of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Mr. and Mrs. Finlayson have an apartment in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weiland. During the course of the evening the neighbors presented them with a beautiful floor lamp. Mr. and Mrs.. Finlayson thanked their neighbors for the lovely gift and told how Mr. Fin- layson was born on the farm 78 years ago, and Mrs. Finlayson went there as a bride some years later. Mr. and Mrs. Warden Haney have returned from their wedding tour and are in a short time taking up resi- dence on his farm, east of Egmond- vilie, which he purchased from the Devereaux Estate. The bride. entering on the arm of her father, wore a white brocaded satin gown with sweetheart neckline, long siiem sleeves and full graceful skirt, extending to a train. A coronet head- dress held her full-length veil, and she carried a bouquet of red roses. Her only ornament was a string of pearls. Miss Dolores Simpson, of Windsor, was her sister's maid of honor. wearing a pink brocade frock with bouffant double net skirt and matching headdress and gloves. She dalried,pink and white spring flowers in her Colonial bouquet. Miss Betty Lou Larson, of Bayfield, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid in an aqua taffeta frock with matching headdress and gloves and a Colonial spring bou- quet.. Glen Smith, of London, was best man and the usher was Charles Reid of Varna. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Simpson wore black crepe with black accessories and a corsage of pink roses. The groom's mother chose gray with accessories in matching tones and wore a cor- sage, of pink roses. Following a re- ception in the church the oouple lett on a wedding trip to Eastern centres. For travelling the bride wore a. gray suit, black accessories and a fuschia topcoat. Mr. and Mrs. Larson will reside in London on their return, Special Easter services were held in Carmel Presbyterian Church with Rev. P, A.
