'The Winchelsea school concert was held in the church Thursday evening with a capacity crowd and with chairs in the Malec to accommodate the crowd. Rev. Mr. Mair was chairman and the numbers were. well taken by the pupils under the direction of the teacher, Mr. Harvey Spading, and mus,caI director, Mr. Wien. A wel- cea by girls of Grades 1 and 2 and the opening chorus, "San- ta. Claus is Coming To Town," were given, followed by dialogues, "Concert Party," "Playmates in Fairyland," "Home Management," "Spring Clean- ing"; cantata, "To Do Its" and a pan- tomine, "'The Christmas Story," with angels, shepherds and the manger, and the singing of the Lord's Prayer ended a fine program. After present- ing Mr. Wien with a gift, Santa Claus arrived with treats for the thildren.
