smith. He , is also survived by ' one
brother, Mr. Robert Rogerson, of Hun
lett, and ''one sister; Mrs. Matthew
Armstrgn'.g;' 'also of Huliett, and .four
grandchildren. Mr. Rogerson was a
faithful member of First Presbyter-
ian Church. The funeral will be held
on Friday from his late residencQ,.
Gederich Street West, with Rev. ` •
H. Williams officiating. Interment
will be in • Maitlandbank cemetery.

evening at the home pf Misses Vera
and Latta Mole. President John Stev-
ens opened the meeting. After sing-

was called and minutes of February,

tainr_Eruervid Lake,. Cathedral Moun-
tain, Tunnel 'Mountain, Banff and Lake
Louise •(highest lake in the world),
and Mt. Rundle. 'Mr- 'Stewart ex-
pressed his.`'belief that rio, one could
visit these mountains without feeling
a spiritual reverence which seems ev-
er present. The closing hymn, "Unto.
the Hills Atound Do I Lift Up, was..
sung and the meetin'g. closed by re-
peating the Mizpah benediction in uni-
son. Mies Audry Hall conducted a
contest and a delicious. lunch wag
served by the social committee and as
social hour followed. Avote of
thanks was extended to the 'hostesses
by Mrs. Thomas Wilbee, seconded by
Miss Thelma Elgie, and replied to by
Miss Vera Mole.

Dorothy' Rooena Jean, daughter of Mr.

Mr, Frank :Holroyd, sbn of the late
Mr. • ands Mrs. Joseph.Holroyd, Pres-
ton, was sole sized at. the Parsbnage
of Northside .kited Church, Seaforth,
Wednesday morning, March 19, at 11,
o'clock. Rev H. 'V. Workman office
atied.' The bride wore a floor -length
gown of white -sheer chiffon, her shoul-
der yell of White het being held in a
coronet headdress of flowers, and she
carried a bouquet of American Beau-
ty. roses. Miss Muriel • Hudson was
bridesmaid, wearing a gown of pink
Sheer chiffon similar to that worn by•
the bride. Her veil of blue net was
caught in a coronet of -tiny feathers
and her bouquet was,American Beau-
ty roses. Mr.:Edward Grinwood, of
Preston, was best' man- For, her
(laughter's wedding Mrs. Hudson
wore a grey crepe dress, blue hat and,
a corsage of American Beauty' roses.
The wedding lunch was served at the
home of the bride's parents, the
rooms being effectively arranged -with
pink streamers' •and' white Wedding
bells. The bride's Mable, decorated
with spring flowers and„,pastel pink.

tred5 with a three -tiered wedding cake.
