Eberhart opened( the meeting with, the reading of a poem and prayer, and conducted the business. Mrs. Neil Gillespie gave the current events. Mrs. John Beat - tie's' group had charge of.the program. The Bible readdng was given by Mrs. Beattie and a prayer by Mrs. Helen McMillan. Three excellent papers on missionary, work in Africa were pre- pared and read by Miss Simpson, Mrs. J. G. L. -Gilbert united in holy matrimony, Audrey Anne, daugh- ter of Mr: and Mrs. George McGavin, Seaforth, and Mr. Bruce Maxwell- Mc- Lean, son of Mr. and Mrs. -David Mc- Lean, Tuckersmith. The church*, was tastefully decorated with white 'mums on the 'altar_ ' Mr. George Clark, the organist, played the wedding music and accompanied Mr. Allan Elston;' of Centralia, *hen be sang "Oh Promise Me," and during the signing of the register when he sang "The Church is One Foundation."
