The bride Inas Liven In marriage by

munds, Sarnia. She wore a floor-
lengtlt gown of White crepe with
bodice of Coronation brald. Her
bridal veil was attached to a sweet-
heart headdress. The bride carried a
bouquet of Sweetheart roses and but-
ton chrysanthemums, and wore a gold
locket. Miss Gladys Earle, as brides-
maid, was the only attendant. She
wore pale blue net over taffeta with
pink velvet trimming. Her -matching
headdress of pink rosebuds held a
shoulder -length veil. She carried white
chrysanthemums. •W. I•Iarold Finni-
gan wag' best man and the ushers
were William W. Reilins, Sarnia, and
Stuart M. Finnigan, Kitchener. The
reception was'heldi at the home of the
groom's parents. Mrs. Finnigan re-
ceived, wearing black sheer and a
corsage of red roses. Mr. and Mrs.
Grant Finnigan left for a honeymoon
in Niagara Falls, the- bride travelling
in a navy blue suit with navy hat and
accessories and corsage of pink rose-
buds. Over her costume she wore a
brown mouton coat. On their return
Mr. and Mrs. Finnigan will take up
residence ,in Egmondville.
Holds Bazaar and Tea.—The Ladies'
Guild of St. Thomas' "Church held its
second ,annual bazaar and afternoon
tea in the Parish Hall on 'Wednesday,
Nov. 6. Rev. Mr. Gilbert opened the
bazaar and visitors were welcomed 'by
the president, Mrs. G. McGavin and
Mrs. F. C. L. Gilbert. The bazaar'
booth was in charge of Mra. „William
Archibald, 'Mrs. Moore, Mrs. F.
Scarlett and Mrs. H. Pretty. The home
baking table was looked after by. Miss
C. Holmes and Mrs. Ada Reid. Mrs.
B. Shaw conducted the children's fish
pond. At the tea table Mrs. Arnold
Case had .assisting her Mrs. E. C. Bos-
well, Mrs. Robert Archibald, Mrs. L.
Strong, Mrs. Bethune, Miss D. Parke
and Miss Hazel Earle. The proceeds
amounted to $176.

Death of Robert Grant Fraiser.—•,
Death came with startling suddenness
to Robert Grant Fraises • pf town,
early Wednesday morning, -Nov. 13, in
Scott Memorial Hospital. On Tuesday
evening he was taken ill„ and passed
away shortly after being admitted to
the hospital. Mr., Fraiser Was born
yin Walton and was the only son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fraiser,
being in his 51st year: The deceased
was' a veteran of World War I, en-
listing with the 161st Battalion. He
is survived by his .widow, the former
'Janet Howes, and -three sans, Jack,
Bill' and Douglas,. and ten daughters,'
Mrs. Devitt, London; Mrs. Radford,
Londesboro; Mrs. Reg. Rintoul, Kit-
chener; Edna, Waterloo; Jean, Acrd-
r-ey,. Cecille,: Barbara,, Mary, and Mur-
iel, at home, and' three sisters, Mrs.
George'Lowery and Mrs: Alex''Lowery
of Seaforth, and Mrs. John Vrooman,'
•Goderich. One son, Arthur Fraiser,
was killed on active service in France
in 1944. During the late war the de-
ceased was a Government Inspector
in the Sunshine Co.. at Waterloo. He
was a member of Si. Thomas' Church
and also of the Canadian Legion, The
funeral will take place Friday after-
noon, under the auspices of the Cana-
dian Legion from his -late residehoe,

Death of Miss.Helen R. Wilson: -
Helen Richardson Wilson, talented
musician and former secretary. of the
Heliconian Club; Toronto, died Sud-
denly Sanday at Nassau, Bahamas,
where she had planned to spend the
winter. Miss =Wilson, accompanied by
her uncle and aunt,• Prof.. and Mrs. G.
R. Anidereon, Toronto, and her sister,
Janette Wilson, 'arrived in Nassau ten
days ago. Daughter-, of J. A: Wilson,
'she was born at Seaforth. She went
to Toronto in 1906 to reside with prof,
and Mrs. Anderson, and studied piano
and organ at the Toronto Conserva-
tory of Music. After graduating she
spent several years in Germany in
post -graduate music study; and also in
travel on the Continent.' For nine
years Miss Wilson was a •triemb'er'o.f
':ie staff of the Bennett 'Schoch for
Girls at Milbrook, N.Y. Miss Wilson
returned to Toronto 10 years ago. For
several years she had held the office
of secretary of the Heliconian Club,
resigning last June. She made many
triend.s at Go Home Lay, Georgian
Bay, where it was her custom to spend
the summer. Surviving are her lather,

Wilson, Seaforth', and three sisters,
'Mrs. Elliot Little, Quebec .City; 'Mrs.

A large congregation was present -at
the evening service in"Brticefield Unit-
ed Church on Sunday, Nov. •10, when
a memorial service was held and, un-
veiling of the Honor Roll of War II.
Rev. E. Stanway, minister of the
church, occupied the pulpit and ad=
dressed the congregation. " The choir,
under the direction of &re'. J. R. Mur-
doch, leader and ,tllrgauist, for their
number sang, ."In Memoriaip" (by
Walter Price). Mr, Sam Rennie, choir
director of 'Hensel!. United . Church
choir, was guest soloist and -rendered
two selections, "The Lord's Prayer"
and "The Good Shepherd." The un-
veiling was in charge of J. K. Corn-
ish end Lye Hill, veterans of World
