United Church held their July -Anglia.
meeting in the form of a pot -luck sup-
per at Lions Park on Tuesday eve-
ning, July 23, at 6.30. A short regu-
lar meeting was held at 8 o'clock. A
reading entitled "Biblical Wheat,"
was given by Mrs. Ros9 Savauge, fol-
lowed with " prayer by Mrs. Snider.
Mrs. Beverley F. Christie,, the presi-
dent, then welcomed the members
and visitors. Vera Mole, acting sec-
retary, read the minutes of the June
meeting, and Mrs.. Lillian Barber,
Captain`of Circle 3, conducted the re-
mainder of the meeting. Mrs. G. T.
Turnbull led in prayer and Mrs. Wal-
den read the Scripture. Mrs: 'Helmer
Snell gave two interesting readings,
"Bright Intervals" and "Travellers."
The meeting closed, by repeating the
Mizp'.ah benediction.

Death of Mrs. Margaret Hart.—At
.the home of her daughter, Mrs. D.
Wolfe, 24 Rankin Street, Stratford,
Mrs.' Margaret 'Elliott Walker .Hart
died Friday night, July 19, in her 78th
year. She had been ill for several
month§: "Mrs:'Hai1 was -a -daughter -Of-.
the late John Walker and Margaret
Grieve Walker, and 'was` born hi Rox-
boro, ,McKillop Township, on July 23,
'1$68,• She lived there until going to
Toronto. Her marriage to William J.
•Hart took place at. •Toronto in Febru-
ary"1890. and they made their home
there until returning to Seaforth. Her
husband died in 1919. Mrs. Hart was.
a member of St. Andrew's Presbyter-
ian' Church, Stratford, and a former
member of First Presbyterian Church,
.Seaforth, She was also a. member of
Edelweiss Rebekah Lodge of Seaforth.
Two daughters and one' Son survive:
'(Ina) ,Mrs. D. Wolfe, and Mrs, Della
Brown, 14& Hibernia Street, Stratford,
and J. Walker Hart, Seaforth. Fotir
grandchildren 'and one great grand-
child also survive; also one sister,
Mrs. Bert Hardill, Toronto. The body
rested at the 'G, A. Whitney Funeral
Chapel, Seaforth, whereservice was
conducted by Rev. H. V. Workman, of
Northside United Church, 'on Monday
at 2.30 p.m. Burial was made in Mait-
landbank cemetery. ° The pallbearers
were Messrs. 'Charles Hagan,. W. E.
Hogg, Robert Grieve, D. H. Wilson,
Robert B Scott and 'Joseph Scott:
