Ovine' you, kids? Seems like a long
time since we've bad 'fireworks. It's
going to -`be .a,,new sensation.
Kide are falling all the time now,
%at bumping into someone ' is some-
thing new this week. Lenore gab -
kirk seemed to be .in quite a htirry
one day as she bounded into one. of:
the classes and bumped' headlong in-
to Butch Beattie, as he was cowing
out. What a collision! ' Both were
seeing stars for a minute!
Maybe you've thought 'by now,that
Ken' Eaton' is out of existence, be -

cause• there hasbeen no [mention"- of
b,xn' for some time., This week Elie,
was kn a teasing mood, and While- up
at the board he •picked up one 'of...the
.
brushes. which had the most' chalk
dust on it; and putting 'it to his fitesrth
blew it on Lenore. This •suiprise't
tack made 'Lenore start to cough and
cei2Alcc.—..and- exclaim: "Oh, you!"
That's not what the brushes are for,
and that's not the way you clean
them either! Silly boy!
• Something new has been 'added!,
Music, to help us concentrate en our
work, or—something else. Far sev-
eral periods lately classes have been'
entertained'' by^"a selection of 'records
called "Peter and the Wolf," and do
Yen know why? I could never have
even guessed myself! The First
Formers are painting • to it!- ''Yes,
painting to music! Boy! I'd 'like to
see some of these modernart pro-
ductions,
Second Form was conducting an
experiment in agriculture• this :week
that aroused the Interest of almost
every Student in .the school. They
were seeing how the circulation of
blood in the web.a,of •' •a" toad's foot
worked.', 'Students, all day, flocked
into the Lab. to Took through the
microscope 'at ,the interesting sight,
But the poor little toad lies there
chloroformed • ;with 'one of its legs
stretched out under the miscroscope.
Geer the poor little toad .'had tq..,.suf-
fer•, just so we could see' its' circula-
tion!
* * . , . •
• Boy, .we must ha'vt'some hefty boys
in our school, especially in ' Second
Form, They just love to wrestle,. and
they do it all' Bre time, but one , day,
with a little extra movement, one of
the boys put his elbow through the
window, and • crash! the pieces of
glass fell. Dough -head! What were
you trying to do? Act like Superman?
' Whether. there aren't enough balls
' to go around at the school, I don't
know, but Don Brightrall and Butch
Beattie were using , their shoes. one
day 'to toss back and forward, Who
knows maybe that's the latest. fad
among the boys, but I hardly think
ea. Maybe We could all 'go together,
boys, and buy you ,a hall. Ii would
save on the footwear. •
Question of the Week
Who is- our young "nigress?"•
Song of "the Week,
•
"Stumbling"—an old song, but can
mean the same thing, even in .this
modern day—and I'm referring to a
young First Former, who stumbles in-
to her seat instead of sitting down
gracefully. .
