Death .of John McMillan
The sud•d•n-•and unexpected passing
of Mr. John McMillan, of the 9th con-
cession in Scott Mel7iorial Hospital on
Tuesday. May 7th,, came with a great
sense of shock to the people of this
township and district, where he had
been so widely known and deservedly
esteemed for so many years. On Sun-
day Mr. ¥cMil1'an suffered a severe
stroke, from which he never recover-
ed, passing awayio the hospital -two
days later. The'deceased was a son
of Mr. Hugh McMillan, with whom he
made his home, and was born in the
township 48 years ago. He received
his early education at the • Seaforth
Separate. School. later attending the
Collegiate Institute. For' some time
he was employed• by the Ford Motor
Company. Detroit. but returned to his
home`.a number of wears ago and con-
tinued to 'farm Until his death.. He is
survived 'by. his father. -?t': Hugh Mc-
' Milian: two ibroithers and one' sister.
