The 68th, anniversary of St. Paul's
Anglican Church was observed Sun-
day, June 10th. Speakers were `Rev.
R. C. Holmes, of Bayfield, at -11 a.m.,
and Rev. C. F. L. Gilbert, of Seaforth,
at the evening service, who deliver-
ed splendid and timely messages. For
their 'morning anthem the choir sang
"0 Worship the King" and their eve-
ning contribution was "God is a .Spir-
it." Mrs: Frank Forrest was at the.

flowers adorned the church.
The annual picnic of the Hensali
Women's Institute will be held on
the lawn of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. 'Shir-
ray, three miles southwest of Hensall,
Wednesday, June 20th, at 4.30 p.m.

The W.M.S. of the United Church
held their monthly meeting at the
home of Mrs. James Smillie Thurs-
day afternoon, June 7th, at 3 p.m.,
with the president, Mrs. Brook, (pre-
siding. The roll call was responded
to by 18 members. The visiting com-
mittee, Mrs. Smillie and Mrs. Manns,
reported having made 28 calls on
sick and, shut-ins, and found three in
bed. It was decided that the next
meeting in July will be a picnic meet-
ing, to be held on the church lawn.
The program was Left in charge of
the music committee. The study
book was ably taken by Miss Ellis,
Mrs. C. McDonell and Miss Consitt
were appointed a visiting Committee,
for June.

Graham and Miss K. 'Scott visited
with relatives in Palmerston ' recent-
ly.

on Thursday last suffering with 'strep,"

ing" and Lord's Prayer in unison,

Mrs. Hedden. Prayers were offered
