Ten Girl Guides answered the roll call.. How about a larger at- tendance next week? Inspection was followed by a study period, during which most of the ,Guides who have not their second class, studied the Morse Code. A game, Ack-Ack, was played, and the meeting closed with Taps, "God Save the King," and "Gee! I'm Glad I'm a Girl Guide." Brownies Pass Tests.—On Wednes- day of this week, the Brownies pass- ed two tests at the homes of Mem- bers of the Seaforth Girl Guide As- sociation. Mrs. W. R. Mae Lane Auxiliary Meets. — The February; meeting of the Mae Lane Auxiliary of Northside United Church was held on Tuesday evening at the home of :Mrs. E. C. Chamberlain. Mrs. E. B. Goudie opened the• meeting by reading a poem,. "Thy • Kingdom Come." After singing the hymn, "Where Cross the Crowded Ways of Life," prayers were offered by Mrs. Ross Savauge and -Mrs. 'Helmer Snell. The National Anthem was then sung. Mrs. F. J. Bechely, the president, took the chair and the minutes of the Jan- uary meeting were read and adopted as Correct by the secretary, Mrs. Johnston. S.—The Senior Auxiliary of the Women's Missionary Society met in First Presbyterian Church on Tues- day, •Feb. 22nd. Mrs. W. Freeman, the president. opened the • meeting with prayer, followed by the reading of a poem, the theme of which was, "And Did You Think To Pray?" Re- ports were given by the secretary and treasurer and other business dis- cussed.
