manifested in the society, which had
a most- suecessftil year in 1943. Be-
sides spending $400 in. rebniiding •the.
grandstand at the agricultural park
and inking other 'improvements to
buildings and grounds, the treasurer's
x • •-Statement showed a substantial bal-
ance carried over• for the coming
;ear,
The .society decided it would not
hold- a •epring-stoek• fair this -year.
Mrs. Bessie Kerr, who has' been the
able ecretary-treasurer,of the society
Since .1931,- •tendered her resignation
at the meeting. and it was regretfully
accepted. Her position was taken by
