Wilson officiated. The church was,
beautifully decorated with spring
flowers, lilacs, tulips and lnxlrepur.
Given in marriage by her father, the
bride looked., attractive in a gown of
romance blue crepe in street length,.
redingote style, with matching hat and
accessories, 'an,d'wearing a corsage of
Briarcliffe roses and lily -of -the -valley.
The bride's only.' attendant was Miss
Marcella Woods, wearing canyotu rose
crepe, street length dress in 'redin-
gote style, with hat and accesories
black. Her •corsage was of pastel
shaded sweet peas and lilrof-the-val-
ley. Mr. Charles Robertson, of Til-
bury, brother of the bridegroom, was
best man. Miss Marjorie Marshall
played the weeding music and during
the signing of the register Miss Ina
Hill sang "Because." A reception was
held at the home of the bride's par-
ents with spring -flowers, lily -of -the -
valley, larkspur and narcissi grace-
fully used in decorations. The. bride's
'table was centered with the wedding
cake, and white candles -In silver hold-
ers and vases of spring flowers also

Joseph Moore was the victim of an
unfortunate accident on .Saturday
when the was attending' a bee shing-
ling a barn on the farm on Centre
Road recently purchased by ' Alex
Roney. He fell from the roof rota

gins, to receive weekly cheques which
will continue or a limited) period of
unemployment:
This, briefly, is the Unemployment
Insurance Plan 'which becomes a law
of Canada, just as it has been' a law
in Great Britain for more than thirty
years. With the experience of the
British Act as well as the examples
of other countries to draw upon, the
Unemployment Insurance Commission
has -created a plait which should op-•
erate with the least inconvenience to
'the employer and to 'the greatest pos-
sible benefit to the workers.
A' unique and simple system of mak-
ing contributions to the fund through
the employer purchasing special
stamps from the post office and af-
fiving them each week in a book de-
signed for the purpose, is the record
of each worker's contributions, as
well as the employer's. In this way
every worker can find out exactly at
