Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father O'Drowski. Spiritual and floral bouquets were numerous and a large cunpourse of friends attended the funeral, showing 'The esteem in yvbioh she was held. The pallbearers were J. P. Kenney, Frank Milan, Conrad Eckert, Jr., Clemet t McKay, Joseph Manley and Joseple Kenny. Solos were rendered during the service by Mrs. Leo Fior- tune and Mr, Frank Sills, with Mrs. Frank Devereaux, the -organist, pre- siding. Death of •Former Principal: s --The death occurred at this residence, Om'emee, Ont., on Tuesday, August 27th, of Morgan J. O'Neill, M.A. be- loved husband of Estella Carlin. Mr. O'Neill, Was Principal of the Seaforth Collegiate institute during the 1921- 22 term. The funeral took place from his late residence on Thursday, Aug. 29th, at 9 a.m- to St. Luke's Church, Downeyville: Interment was in St., Luke's cemetery, Downeyvilie, Ont. ON E+F:?f-ti OS#M,iG,`j.`„T Grace s" Beauty Salon Mother Dies in Stratford.—One of Stratford's must ardent supporters of hockey and baseball and a true friend to players of both games died in the Stratford General Hospital about 9.30 o'clock Saturday night in the person of Mrs. Henry E. McFaddin, 79 Bal- lantyne Avenue, in her 49th year, says the Stratford Beacon -Herald. Mrs. McFaddin. had been in poor health since last winter when she contracted ptomaine poisoning. Mrs. McFad•din conducted a boarding house for some years and her clientele was• chiefly baseball apd hockey players. She took a motherly interest in the boys and truly earned the name of "Ma" by which she was best known to all of them Her home was their home and they respected the_ priv- ileges which she granted them. She followed their progress and the games both in Stratford and away from home. President of the Women's Missionary Society of St. Andrew's Church, of which she''was a devout - McFaddin re - `he late ..Mrs. nvember, t tired from that office last year. Born in Belfast, Ireland, on September 16, 1891, the departed woman came to Canada as a child 39 years ago. She lived in Wellesley until about twenty years ago, having married there 27 years ago. Besides her husband there Survive two' sons,• Ralph of Seaforth, and Albert at home. 'Pwo grand- children, one brother, Albert Freeman .of • London, and a half-sister, Mrs. Daisy Hans, in England, also survive. 'Tire funeral was held at the Heinbuch Funeral Home at two o'clock on Tuesday and was conducted by Rev. ,N. McFatil, of St. Andrew's, Pres- byterian Church. Interment was in Millbank cemetery.-` The pallbearers were Arnold' McNair, Harry Freeman, Eddie Radiff, Michael McQuade, Oreo. Miskimmons and Cecil McFaddin. Friends and , relatives were present from Toronto, Hamilton, London, Kit- chener, Niagara Falls, Wellesley, Granton, Seattorth, Guelph, Stratford and district. Floral tributes were banked everywhere about the casket, tangible evidence of the esteem in which Mrs. MCFaddin was held by her many friend's both young and old. The August meeting of the Barbara Kirkman Young Women's Auxiliary of First Presbyterian Church was held Tues- day evening. Mrs; Reg Kerslake in the chair, had charge of the program. The business part of the meeting was taken by the president, Miss Gretta Ross. Thetreasurer reported. that the funds for this year were some- what in advance of this time last year. The Ways and Means Com- mittee is busy getting ready for the apron bazaar to he held in S'eptem- ber. Next month the annual rally of Huron Presbyterial will be held in Hensen. The topic for the evening was "Prayer." The Scripture lesson, which was given by Miss Belle Smith, was interesting and inspiring.
