Fowler, a fernnerly highly esteemed Seaforth resident, whose death occurred in London on June 24, was laid to rest on Tueselay afternoon in the family plot in Harpurhey ceme- tery. Rev. Dr. Hurford, of St. Thomas Church, officiated' at the gravesidle, a private service having been held at her late residence, 225 Hale.St., Lon- don, conbducteeby Rev. Mr. Tramper of SL Matthew's Anglican Church. Mrs. Fowler w•ho was a daughter of the late Mr. Mrs. George Fitzger- ald; wras bora forth. Early in life she moved to' Toronto with her parents where she was married about twenty-two years ago and went to re- side in London- Surviving are her - hnesband and a family of .four. She is also survived ..by a sister, Mrs. Harry Stewart, of Seaforth, and one bro- ther, R. J. Fitzgerald, Toronto. The pallbearers were J. H. Woodatand, Henderson Smith; J. P. Dorsey, C. P. Sills, Ross Sproat and J. A. Stewart. Friends were present from Loudon, Sarnia, Brantford, Bowmranville, To- ronto and Wingham. Death of Mrs. F. A. Moult. Eliza- beth Scott Lawrence, wife of Mr. Fredlerick A. Moult, died at the home of her brother, Mr. Herald Lawrence in• ' McKiiIlop, on Monday, June 26th. Mrs. Mowll was born, me McKillop and received her early education there and at Seatertlh Collegiate. She taught school at S. S. No. 4, McKillop, be tore entering Toronto University, where sehe took :her Arts degree. Later she taught school in Edmonton, where in 1915 she was united in marriage to Mr. F. A. MioudL Besides her hus- band she is survived by three sons, William, Robert and James. She is aisio survived, by four brothers and three sisters: Mrs,, Lorne Webster, of McKillop; the Misses Annie and Pearl Lawrence, of Seaforth; 1Vir. Fred Lawrence, of Vancouver; Messrs. Matthew and Herbert Lawrence; of Edmonton, and Mr. Herald Laawreoce, of 'McKee:ie. .A private funeral was held from the home of her brother in McKillop on Wednesday afternoon, when the services were conducted by Rev. H. V. Workman, of Northside United Church, assisted by Rev. R. P. D. Hurford, of St. Thomas' Angli- can Church- Interment was made in Maitlan!dibamk cemetery, the pallbear- ers being Mr. B. M. Thomp- son.—The death oceurared art her home in Seaforth on Satuendiay, June 24th, of Gh!arloatte Elizabeth Thompson, follow- ing a week's illness from concussion of the brain. Miss. Thompson was the only daughter of the late John, Thompson, a pioneer resident of Hal- lett Townaftd 1, and Annie S pros t, of Tuckersmith. She was born on the old Tihoanrpsoo homestead, which her father purdhnseed ieom the Canada Company, and where her brother now lives, and where she spent: the great- er reater part of her life. Miss Thompson received her early education at the Hal ett school, and lister at Brantford Ladilesr College, .where she specializ- ed in music. For the past fifteen years she bad resided in S•ea'forth. She was a member of First Presbyter - i un Church and although of a retiring disposition she was a most generous giver and a supporter of church and charitable causes One brother, Mr. J. W. Thompson, of Mullett; two nephews, John and Kenneth, and one niece, Miss Charlotte Mary Thompson are left to mourn her passing.
