The bride, who was unattended, was charming in a gown of tea rose sheer with bouffant skirt and tiny matching jacket, and wore a halo of tea rose buds. After the ceremony the happy couple left on a motor trip to Ottawa, down the St. Lawrence River and around the Niagara district, the bride travelling in a navy satin faced crepe dress, beige coat and navy accessories. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Dale will reside on the groom's farm in Hal- letL .. Dies in Nelson, B. C.—Mrs: Edith Agnes Hutchinson, wife of Daniel W. Hutchinson, 223 First Ave. West, Cal- gary, died suddenly at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. E. Shaw, Carbon- ate St., Nelson', B: C., on Monday ev- ening, August 22nd. Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson were residents of Nelson, B. C., about twenty years ago when Mr. Hutchinson was in the clothing business. They later moved to Cal- gary where they have lived since. Mrs. Hutchinson came ,.to 'visit her sister only two weeke" ago Sunday. She was born in Seaforth, before her marriage being Edith Agnes Cash. Besides her husband and sister, Mrs. Hutchinson is survived by three other sisters, Mrs. Margaret McGee and Mrs,: A. T. Currie, in Toronto, and Miss Grace Cash, of Nelson, B-' C. • Barrett - Eberhart.----:-A very pretty wedding took place on Tuesday at 12 o'clock on the lawn of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Eberhart, Goderich Street, Sea - forth, when their only daughter, Irene Mae, was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Edgar Barrett, Kirkland Lake, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Barrett, Newton. Rev. Hugh Jack officiated. The bride. who was given in marriage by her father, wore a beautiful gown. of white marquisette over satin with a knee-length veil and carried a bou- euet cf Briarcliffe roses. Miss Kath- leen Barrett, Newton, sister of the bridegroom, acted as maid of honor, wearing orchid net over satin and carried a bouquet of yellow mums. The bridesmaid, Miss Jean Barrett, Newton also a sister of the bride- groom, looked charming in a gown of pale green brocaded taffeta and car- ried a bouquet of pink roses. The bridegroom was assisted by Mr. Del - ford Kenney, Peffers. Miss Marion Barrett played the wedding music. The bride's mother donned black chic fon over satin with a corsage of ros- es while the bridegraam's mother wore black lace over taffeta with a corsage Of Briarcliffe roses. After the wedding ceremony a sumptuous din- ner was served at the Commercial Hotel, Seaforth. The happy young couple left on a honeymoon trip to the Muskoka district, the bride trav- eIling in black crepe with white kid trimmings and matching accessories. DUBLIN- Dies UBLIN Dies in Briantford A member of the Brantford Fire Department for twenty-three years and a well known Brantford resident, Patrick Thomas Hurley passed away in that city. The departed man who had been a resident of .Brantford for thirty-five years, was born at Dublin, Cont. A member .of the Native Sous of Canada, Mr. Hurley •'was always keenly interested in .community .+v- ents. To mourn their loss, besides his sorrowing widow, is one daugh- ter,. Mrs. Ernest Tincknell, Paris, and two sons, Joseph, Toronto, and Ed- win, at home; two brothers, Lewis ane Leo, of Brantford; and , two sis- ters, Mrs.'Fred Rodgers, Toronto, and Mrs. Marshall George, Galt.
