McKellar Mrs. A. D. McKellar, one of the oldest; • most widely known and most deservedly esteemed residents of the -Cromarty district, passed away at her tome, Lot 18, Concession 10, Hibbert, on elenda.y, April' 4th, in her 80th year. 'She had been in ailing health' for the past two months as the re- sult of a . stroke. Mrs. McKellar,! -whose maiden name was Mary La - 'mond, was a daughter of the late Mal- colm Lomond, of Hibbert ,Township, cam Lamond, of Hibbert Twp., where she., was born Aug. 10, 1858, and her whole life had been lived in that township. On "March 25, 1885, she -was united in marriage to Mr. A. D. McKellar, and went to hive on 'the beautiful farm which has been her 'home' for the past fifty-three Fearer -Mrs. McKellar was one of the oldest 'members of ©rom'arty Presbyterian Church and all her life had taken an- active nactive interest in 'her church. She leaves 'to mourn her great loss 'her eausband and a family of two sons -and three daughters: Mrs. John Hamilton, Cromarty; Mrs. Wilbur IMiller, Staffa; Mists Sarah and Mr. Duncan McKellar, at home, and Mr. Malcolm McKellar, of Seaforth_ She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. William Etty, of Regina, Saslc., and Mrs. John Hoggarte, of Q'Appelle, :sank. The funeral was held from the McKellar home on Wednesday after- noon and was very largely attended by neighbors and' friends, a speaking testimony., of respect and esteem to one who for so many y'ear's had filled such a large place in the home and ccnnmunity. The services were con- ducted by her minister, Rev. JaMes Feidie, followed by interment in Roy's. cemetery. The pallbearers were MVleeses. Duncan. and M.
