Church on Wednesday evening. The
meeting was opened by the singing
of a hymn, after which Mr. Car-
miehael led in prayer. The Scripture
was read by Masa. Jean MacDonald
and Miss Donna Mole gave the topic.
After the meeting lunch was served
by the Social Conimittee.

McMillan. Mrs. Lindsay, from Con-
stance, favored with a solo, "I Love
To Tell the Story," -which was much
enjoyed by all." After the offering
the meeting closed with a hymn and
allrepeating the Lord's 'Prayer in

delicious lunch and a social half hour

Barbara Kirkman Auxiliary Meet-
inge-The November meeting of the
Barbara •Kirkmard Auxiliary of First
Presbyterian Church was held on
Tuesday evening. The meeting was
in charge of the McConnell group
with Mrs. Dale in the chair. Miss
Belle Campbell gave, in a most in-
teresting way, a story of a Norwe-
gian family's experiences in North-
ern Ontario, Their struggle for ex-
istencenen their little fanm and their
desperate condition until helped by
the church was very graphically por-
trayed by Miss- Campbell. Miss Betty
Smith and Miss Merle keating sang
a very pleasing duet. The Scripture
reacting was -given by Mrs. Jo
Sclater and the Glad Tidings pr
by Mrs. Wm. Sutherland. A

First Presbyterian W. M. S. Meets.
-Mrs. Robert Eberhart, president of
the senior W.M.S., occupied the chair
at the monthly meeting ihelti in First,
Presbyterian Church on Teesday af-
ternoon and led in the opening exer-
cises. She also 'reed a report from
the provincial secretary in regard to
the requirements for shipping bales
to the West and the work in general
A bale of clothing has just been
shipped by the auxiliary to Saska-
toon. During the business session it
was decided to hold the next meeting
on the second Tuesday of December

Knipp. She was predeceased by two
brothers, Thomas and Robert, and
three sisters., Elizabeth, Katherine
and Margaret. The funeral was held
Saturday afternoon at St. George's
Anglican Church after a short ser-
vice at the house. The services were
conducted by Rev. J. Graham, of
Brussels, who stroke very feelingly of
her life and- her love for her church.
The pallbearers were six nephews:
Messrs. W. R. Sholdice, D. 11.4§thol-
dice, H. R. Hoover, G. McCartney, C.
Coulter and E. Smith. Interment
took place 1 ' Brussels cemetery.
Among those fr'om a distance attend-
ing thee funeral were Mr. and Mrs. P.

Oldfield, all ,of Tuckersanith; Mr. and

with the Mizpah benediction.
