A Crippled Child
Needs Your Help!
By Dr. F. J. Beohely, Chairman,
Crippled Children's Committee,
Seaforth Lions CIO.
The I.Yons Clu of "'Seaforth has
been engaged in Child Welfare Work
for the past fdgbt years. During tha t
Mime we have had examined; end• re -
Commended treatnoent for some hun-
dreds of children in this section of
Huron County. Same have needed
expensive appliances and some have
.. had to spend long periods in various
hospitale. The members of this
Club _have expended on this work ap-
proximately $6,000.00 and a great deal
of time, patience and effort to see
that these children get all the attere
bion that medical science ear . give
them. .
We are now asking the people of
this. community to do their part. We
must raise this money every year and
we appeal through our Hallowe'en
Frolic. It is YOUR chance to show
the Club that our efforts on behalf of
these underprivileged, children are ap-
preciated and that you want the work
to continue.
As you are all aware, we have had
this year a terrible .epidemic of in-
fantile 'partalyels. Fortunately our
community has been spared to a
large extent from the ravages of this
dread disease, but this. has not been
true of nearby sections. We are,
therefore, anticipating theft this year
we will have a large number^ of addi-
tional eases to provide for.
We wish to thank you for the gen-
erous assistance provided in the past
and we have every confidence that
this year you will make the Hal-
lowe'en Frolic bigger and better than
ever.

LIONS BUILD BEAUTY POT
0
The Seaforth Lions Club Park and Swimming Pool, now in its 14th
year, is annually attracting unusual attention from the people of this
community and neighboring towns. Costing nearly $10,000 during recent
years, the Club has yearby year endeavored to improve the park and
pool until to -day it stands without an equal in Western Ontario. As facili-
ties improve, so do maintenance costs, and it is for expenditiures such as
this that the Club is appealing to you at this time.
